Irans View on the Recent Developments: Ambassador Speaks on Metro TV

The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Jakarta, in an interview with the television channel "Metro TV," proclaimed that Iran has illustrated its resolve by targeting two bases- intelligent and military- that played roles in the assault on our embassy in Damascus. This action demonstrates that Iran is not indifferent to attacks on its diplomatic sites.
H.E. Mr. Boroujerdi further elaborated that the initial target was an airbase housing F-35 fighter jets from which the Zionist regime launched an attack on our embassy, and the second target was a surveillance(intelligent) base where aircraft and drones had been used to spy on and gather information from the embassy and other Iranian locales.
He continued, stating that this measure served as a punitive strike and has now concluded, with no further actions planned by the Islamic Republic of Iran. Nevertheless, he affirmed that Iran is fully prepared to respond should there be any further Zionist or allied provocations against Iranian interests.
