Iranian Medical Equipment in Indonesian Hospitals

In a ceremony held on July 10, 2024 at RSCM Hospital in Jakarta, attended by H.E. Mohammad Boroujerdi, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Jakarta, and officials from Indonesia's Ministry of Health, a laparoscopic surgery simulator was showcased. This device had been introduced to the Indonesian side by the late President of Iran.
During the event, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran honored the memory of the late President, noting that his visit last year marked a turning point in the expansion of bilateral relations between the two countries. He highlighted that the positive impacts of this visit are gradually becoming evident in various scientific and academic forums, such as the current ceremony.
Iran and Indonesia have maintained friendly relations across various sectors, including healthcare. According to senior officials from both countries, there are plans to further strengthen these relations.
