The Embassy of the Saudi Arabia in Jakarta held the ceremony of Iftar on March 28, 2023 participated by many figurs, including the leaders of the Islamic Organizations as well as Mr. Mahdi Rounagh, the chargé d'affaires ad interim of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Jakarta. One of the highlights of the ceremony was the arrival of the chargé d'affaires ad interim of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran since Iran and Saudi Arabia’s diplomatic relation was in turmoil for almost 7 years. Mahdi Rounagh was greeted by the Ambassador and the Military Attaché of the Embassy of Saudi Arabia. This certainly is a momentum for the establishment of entente between Iran and Saudi Arabia which was brokered by China.
