Celebrating Indonesian Diplomacy: Iranian Ambassador Joins CIFP Conference
Bilateral relations
Indonesia marked a significant moment in international diplomacy by hosting the seventh round of its Foreign Policy Conference on December 2, 2023. This grand event, taking place in the nation's capital, Jakarta, brought together a diverse range of participants, including ambassadors stationed in Indonesia, 2024 Indonesian presidential candidates, government officials, and scholars.   Organized by the Indonesian Foreign Policy Community (FPCI) since 2015, the conference has grown to become the largest of its kind globally, with over 11,000 attendees. The aim is to foster connections and coordination in international relations and foreign policy among various stakeholders, including government institutions, diplomatic corps, think tanks, academia, the diaspora, private companies business communities, journalists, and students.   A key highlight of the conference was the participation of the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Indonesia. The ambassador engaged in the Diplomacy Clinic panel, addressing approximately 20 Indonesian students' questions. Discussions focused on the bilateral relations between Iran and Indonesia, I.R. Iran's stance and actions regarding the Palestinian issue, and the recent atrocities committed by the Zionist regime in Gaza.
