In line with the development of relations and scientific cooperation between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Rounagh, the Charge d'Affaires a.i of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, met with Dr. Dino Patti Djalal, the Foreign Policy Community of Indonesia (FPCI) President/founder on Tuesday, July 10, 2023. During this meeting, emphasis was placed on the exchange of research delegations, organizing training courses for students and young diplomats from both countries, holding virtual sessions on various regional topics, Iran's role in the Middle East, Indonesia's role in Southeast Asia and ASEAN, developments in the Middle East, Asia-Pacific developments, South China Sea developments, the Russia-Ukraine war, and the role of Iran and Indonesia in the Islamic world, between the Office of Political and International Studies (IPIS) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Foreign Policy Community of Indonesia (FPCI).
It is worth mentioning that the Foreign Policy Community of Indonesia (FPCI) is a non-partisan, non-politic, and independent foreign policy organization established to discuss and introduce international relations issues to many relevant actors in Indonesia, such as diplomats, ambassadors, government officials, academia, researchers, businesses, media, lecturers, think tanks, students and media. FPCI is also dedicated to studying the most-pressing foreign policy issues in relation to ASEAN, geopolitics, middle powers, geo-economics, and diaspora.
