The Armed Forces Day of the Islamic Republic of Iran was commemorated in a ceremony attended by guests and official figures in Indonesia. The event, which saw the presence of dozens of foreign guests, was also attended by Indonesian military commanders, senior diplomats, and military attachés representing various countries.
H.E. Mr. Boroujerdi, the esteemed Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Jakarta, praised the power and determination of the Armed Forces in defending national sovereignty during the ceremony. He mentioned "True Promise Operation" as a response to Israel's attack on our Diplomatic Facility in Damascus, Syria, as an example of such resolve, and emphasized Tehran's commitment to continue supporting the Palestinian people's struggle.
Colonel Movahhed, military attaché of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, also stated in the ceremony that historically, the military doctrine of the Islamic Republic of Iran has been active and decisive against enemies, and despite the unjust sanctions of some colonial countries, today the Iranian Armed Forces are among the leading powers in the region and the world, equipped with the most modern military technology.
At the beginning of the ceremony, the sacred anthem of the Islamic Republic of Iran was played, and a photo exhibition of Iran's indigenous defence weapons was also held on the sidelines of the event.
