Irans National Day Celebration and 75th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations with Indonesia Attended by High-Level Officials from Both Countries

The 46th National Day celebration of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Iran and Indonesia were held in Jakarta, attended by numerous high-ranking officials from both countries. The event began with the recitation of verses from the Qur'an by a young international qari from Iran, followed by the national anthems of both nations.
At the start of the event, a video message was shown featuring the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, Abbas Araqchi, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia, Retno Marsudi, who emphasized the importance of the bilateral relationship between the two countries.
In his remarks, Mohammad Boroujerdi, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Indonesia, stressed the need to continue bilateral cooperation in various formats, including bilateral, multilateral, and within the BRICS framework. Boroujerdi also called for sustained efforts to enhance cooperation in areas such as trade, tourism, health, science, and technology.
Regarding the current developments in Palestine, Ambassador Boroujerdi highlighted the positions and actions of both Iran and Indonesia, which are rooted in Islamic principles and the legal frameworks of both nations. He emphasized that Iran remains at the forefront in offering full support to the Palestinian people, especially in light of the increasing crimes committed by the Zionist Israeli regime over the past 15 months.
The Indonesian Minister of Health, who attended as a special guest, also conveyed congratulations on the anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran and the 75 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries. He reaffirmed the importance of continuing the progress in relations between Tehran and Jakarta, with a focus on growth and enhancement in various sectors.
At the conclusion of the event, a special stamp design commemorating 75 years of diplomatic relations between Iran and Indonesia was unveiled. The ceremony was attended by the Iranian Ambassador, special guests, and senior officials from both countries.
Additionally, the event was attended by four Indonesian ministers, including the Minister of Defense, Minister of Health, Minister of Law and Human Rights, and Minister of Culture. Around 10 deputy ministers were also present, marking the event as a significant milestone in the history of bilateral relations.
The event featured a video clip showcasing Iranian culture, customs, and traditions, as well as advancements in science and technology in Iran, including nanotechnology, biotechnology, and healthcare. A cultural exhibition was also held, introducing Iranian arts, such as poetry, calligraphy, and traditional foods, as well as Iranian export products in the field of renewable technologies, which attracted considerable attention from visitors.
The 75th anniversary celebration of diplomatic relations between Iran and Indonesia reaffirmed the commitment of both countries to continue and enhance their cooperation across various fields. The event also received extensive coverage from the media, news agencies, and social media in Indonesia.
